Bailey Powell — Long-Course Triathlete
Bailey is one of the rising names in long-course triathlon in New Zealand. Originally from Australia and now based in Wānaka, he has steadily built his reputation through consistent racing, year-on-year progression, and a clear commitment to the demands of Ironman. With a background rooted in endurance sport, Bailey has developed into a balanced all-round athlete capable of delivering strong performances across any course profile.

In long-course racing, Bailey holds an 8:35 Ironman PB and a 3:52 Half Ironman PB, showcasing both durability and speed. On the run, he’s continued to refine his performance, clocking a 1:11 half marathon and most recently placing 9th overall at the Auckland Marathon, finishing in 2:31 a result that marked a significant step forward in his marathon development.

Now part of the Beefast athlete roster, Bailey is entering the next phase of his career with a clear focus on bigger domestic and international events. With a growing body of race experience and a fueling approach built around natural performance nutrition, he continues to push his ceiling and define what’s possible across long-course triathlon.
